Often used as a substitute for Lu Rong to tonify the Kidney because it is less expensive. Best used when there is Kidney yang deficiency and exhausted jing. Applicable for wei (atrophy) syndrome, weight loss, and various signs of bleeding.

Cautions & Contraindications
- Lu Jiao Jiao is contraindicated when there is yin deficient fire
- Lu Jiao Jiao is contraindicated without exhausted jing and blood
- Lu Jiao Jiao is contraindicated when there is no deficiency of life gate fire
