are pea sized white beans, most often used to make baked beans, that are closely related to Great Northern beans.

Navy beans are high in fiber and protein and they have large amounts of trace minerals such as magnesium. They can be added to soups and casseroles as well as sprouted and used in salads or cooked sprouts.
