Description
Xiao Yao San is a classical formula that spreads Liver Qi, strengthens the Spleen, and nourishes Blood. Traditionally, it is used for emotional disturbances, hypochondriac discomfort, menstrual irregularities, and fatigue resulting from Liver Qi stagnation with Spleen and Blood deficiency. In modern functional use, it is commonly applied for PMS, anxiety, mild depression, digestive complaints, and general fatigue associated with Qi and Blood deficiency.

Traditional Indications
Rib distention, breast tenderness, fatigue, loss of appetite, bitter mouth, dry throat, headache related to Liver function disorder, menstrual cycle disorders, dizziness
