Description
Xiao Chai Hu Tang is a classical formula that harmonizes the Shaoyang, regulates Liver and Gallbladder Qi, and addresses half-exterior, half-interior patterns. Traditionally, it is indicated for alternating chills and fever, hypochondriac fullness, nausea, and irritability. In modern functional use, it is commonly applied for viral or febrile illnesses, digestive disturbances, mild liver inflammation, and conditions associated with Liver-Gallbladder disharmony.
Traditional Indications
Alternating chills and fever, distention in the chest or rib area, bitter mouth, dry throat, retching, dizziness, severe loss of appetite.

Cautions & Contraindications:
