Shao Yao Gan Cao Tang is a classical formula that nourishes Blood, harmonizes the Spleen, and alleviates painful spasms. Traditionally, it is indicated for muscle cramps, spasms, and palpitations due to Blood deficiency. In modern functional use, it is commonly applied for muscle cramps, abdominal or limb pain, palpitations, and fatigue-related spasms associated with deficiency patterns.
