Description
Qing Qi Hua Tan Tang is a classical formula that clears Lung Heat, transforms phlegm, and directs rebellious Qi downward. Traditionally, it is indicated for cough with thick yellow sputum, wheezing, and chest oppression due to phlegm-heat in the Lungs. In modern functional use, it is commonly applied for bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma, and other respiratory disorders characterized by phlegm-heat accumulation.
Traditional Indications
Full sensation in the chest and diaphragm, bronchial spasm, smoker's cough, sinus congestion, nasal discharge, dry mouth with sore throat and dry stool.
