Dan Zhi Xiao Yao San (Moutan & Gardenia Free & Easy Powder) is a modification of Xiao Yao San designed to spread Liver Qi, clear Heat, strengthen the Spleen, and nourish the Blood. It is traditionally used for irritability, flank pain, fatigue, irregular menstruation, and red eyes due to Liver Qi stagnation with Heat. In modern clinical practice, it is widely used for PMS, menstrual disorders, menopausal symptoms, stress-related mood disturbances, migraines, and skin conditions linked to hormonal or emotional imbalance.
