Regulate blood circulation, gynecological and cardiovascular disorders, formation of nodules from blood stagnation, abdominal pain with irregular menstruation, abdominal pain with blood stasis due to cold, chest pain, qi and blood stagnation, traumatic injuries, bruising, sores, abscess, redness and swelling, breast abscess; and palpitations and insomnia due to heat or heart blood deficiency are some of the imbalances satisfied clients have used this product for.
Primary Traditional Functions
Activates Blood Circulation, Dispels Blood Stasis
Regulates blood circulation and addresses various disorders that blood stagnation causes including gynecological and cardiovascular disorders and the formation of nodules from blood stagnation
- Abdominal pain with blood stasis due to cold
- Abdominal pain with irregular menstruation caused by blood stasis or during postpartum period
- Chest pain
- Epigastric and abdominal pain due to qi and blood stagnation
- External or traumatic injuries with pain and bruising
- Hepatomegaly or splenomegaly
- Palpable masses accumulating due to blood stagnation
- Redness, swelling and pain due to heat type bi zheng
- Traumatic injures and bi zheng (painful obstruction syndrome)

Heat in the ying (nutritive) and xue (blood) levels. Manifestations include delirium, high fever, unconsciousness, irritability, insomnia, subcutaneous bleeding with a dark purplish-red tongue

Cautions & Contraindications
- Dan Shen is incompatible with Li Lu
- People with hypermenorrhea, hemoptysis or hematuria should use Dan Shen with caution
